PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The water flow indicator is a component of an automatic sprinkler fire extinguishing system, usually installed at the beginning of the wa-ter distribution main or pipe on the side of the system pipeline network.When the blade senses the water flow signal, it will convert the water flow signal into an electrical signal. After receiving the signal, the auto-matic alarm controller will issue instructions to start the alarm system or electrical equipment such as the fire pump,and can display the area where the fire occurred; This product is suitable for wet, dry,and pre action automatic sprinkler fire extinguishing systems.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
A fire broke out somewhere,the system turned on,the nozzle sprayed water, water flowed in the pipeline, and the blades in the im-pact water flow indicator shifted and tilted towards the direction of wa-ter flow. The action rod squeezed the ultra small electrical switch,and the delay circuit was connected. After reaching the delay set time,the blades still did not return to their original position,and the electrical contacts closed, giving an electrical contact signal.When the water flow stops,the blades and action rod reset, the switch contacts disconnect, and the electrical contact signal is elimi-
nated. Delaying the alarm signal for a certain period of time is a false alarm that may be caused by instantaneous water pressure fluctuations during firefighting.The water flow indicator is mainly used in automatic fire sprinkler systems. It can be installed on the main water supply pipe or horizontal water pipe to provide electrical signals of water flow in a small area.This electrical signal can be sent to the electrical control box and can be used to start the control switch of the fire pump, playing a role in de-tecting and indicating the alarm area.
