PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The straight through fire valve is a key component installed on thewet fire riser. Its inlet and outlet are on the same horizontal axis,ensur-ing that water flows in a straight line, thereby minimizing pressure loss and turbulence. This valve is usually connected with flanges or threads,complying with standards such as BS 5041-1.The valve body is made of corrosion-resistant copper alloy or stainless steel and is equipped with a water outlet cap that complies with BS 336. Its design includes replace-able rubber sealing surfaces and lockable hand wheels to prevent acci-dental operation,with a working pressure of up to 16 bar. The straight through structure is particularly suitable for fire protection systems with strict requirements for head loss, such as high-rise buildings or long-distance water transmission lines,which can effectively improve fire ex-tinguishing efficiency.
