PRODUCT OVERVIEW
SS type outdoor fire hydrant is designed according to the GB4452-2011 "Outdoor Fire Hydrants" standard. This product has the advantages of beautiful appearance,reasonable struc-ture,and easy maintenance. Outdoor fire hydrants are the main equipment for supplying water to the fire scene in urban pipe-lines.They are installed on the outdoor fire water supply network to supply water for fire trucks or pumps to extinguish fires.In ar-eas with high-pressure water sources in the pipeline network,wa-ter hoses can be directly connected for firefighting. The above ground outdoor fire hydrant body and interface are raised above the ground,with a prominent target,easy to use,and suitable for places with high temperatures.
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The above ground fire hydrant mainly consists of 1 flange bend pipe, 2 valve bodies,3 valve discs,4 drainage valves, 5 hy-drant bodies,6 interfaces,7 valve stems,and 8 wrenches. The function of KwS type external thread fixed interface is to connect with the water hose interface. Flange bends are connected to re-lated pipelines. Automatic drain valve is used to automatically dis-charge residual water. Use a specialized wrench to open the valve disc to supply water, and close the valve disc after use. The ground fire hydrant is sealed by the tight contact between the sealing gasket installed on the valve disc and the valve seat.Rotate the valve stem to make the valve disc component move back and forth up and down, achieving the opening and closing of the valve disc component and the valve seat. Plays the role of wa-ter intake and sealing. When the valve stem is rotated counter-clockwise and the valve disc rises to the fully open state,the drainage valve closes, and the water in the water supply pipeline enters the fire hydrant, completing the work of taking water or directly extinguishing the fire through the water hose and water gun.
