The Fire Department Connection, have got FM Approved and UL Listed also called the single clapper siamese (abbr. as F.D conn) the device is fabricated in according with UL 405 standard for fire department connections.lt contain straight type model ASC 918G and 90 type model ASC 9181 two patterns, which fabricated from sol-id brass component to prolong its service life,the single clapper design fea-tures that the brass cap is integrated with brass body,2.5" swivels are pin lug design foe easy operation,compatibility with local fire ser-vice district, swivel packing are contained,breakable plastics plug to be spun to protect swivels and prevent debris from being accident introduced into the water way.
PRODUCT INSTALLATION
The siamese is provided with standard taper pipe threads conform to ANSI B2.1 and pin lug hose threaded swivel for hose coupling connection,installation of the siamese is achieved with ready available field tools,prior to instal-lation, use pipe joint compound or PTFE tape apply on male threads, then tighten the siamese one ful turn past hand tight and make sure siamese is aligned according to require-ment.
